Set up showcase & embedding

Use the Set up showcase button at the top right to open the showcase deployment dialog. This step will package your 3D scene and showcase settings into a link for sharing or embedding.

Note

By default, the showcase will only be accessible to you. Go to the Users & sharing dialog to manage who can access your project.

Once you make your first deployment, the sections Showcase link and Embed code will appear.

Showcase link

The Showcase link section includes a direct link to the showcase, the user-facing side of your project.

By default, the link includes your project’s alphanumeric ID. Optionally, and depending on your plan, you can set a pretty link by reserving a unique name for your project, made up of lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens (often called a slug). Using words instead of IDs improves the visual appearance of your URL and can positively affect search results. Note that this value cannot be changed once assigned to your project.

Embed code

Note

Embed code is only available if the project has public access enabled (see Users & sharing).

The embed code is an HTML code that allows you to integrate the showcase into any website. It consists of an <iframe> tag and a <script> tag. You can adjust the size of the <iframe> element using the width and height fields.

Note

The <iframe> tag is sufficient in most cases, but some showcase settings require the <script> tag to be present. For example, this is needed for the Sync with scroll option in Animations. Some sites or CMS may limit the inclusion of external scripts, which may impact these features.
