UI & Metadata settings
What this covers
Section titled “What this covers”This page describes every setting in the UI & Metadata tab of the 3D scene editor. Use this tab to configure what controls are visible in the showcase, set a description, and manage the preview photo used for link previews and the loading screen.
Showcase behavior
Section titled “Showcase behavior”| Property | Description |
|---|---|
| Autorun | When enabled, the 3D scene starts loading as soon as a visitor opens the showcase. When disabled, visitors see a prompt and must tap or click to begin. Disabling autorun is useful for pages where visitors may not intend to interact with the 3D scene. |
Viewer controls
Section titled “Viewer controls”These settings show or hide individual controls in the showcase UI.
| Property | Description |

| UI color | The accent color used for all UI controls in the viewer. Choose a color that stands out against your background or matches your brand. |
| Show fullscreen button | Shows a button that lets visitors expand the showcase to fill their screen. |
| Show zoom controls | Shows on-screen zoom buttons. Only available when the interaction mode is Pivot. |
| Show share button | Shows a button that invokes the browser’s native share dialog, letting visitors share the showcase URL. Uses the Web Share API — no tracking is involved. |
| Show Live Editing button | Shows a button that lets authenticated users connect to a live editing session, seeing changes from the editor in real time. |
| Show description in UI | Shows the project description as an overlay panel inside the viewer. |
Branding
Section titled “Branding”| Property | Description |
|---|---|
| Show Edro 3D watermark | Controls whether the Edro 3D logo appears in the corner of the viewer. On the free plan, this option is locked on and cannot be disabled. Upgrading to a Pro plan allows you to turn it off. |
Metadata
Section titled “Metadata”Description
Section titled “Description”A text description of the project. When Show description in UI is enabled, this text is displayed inside the viewer as an overlay panel. It is also embedded in the showcase page’s HTML for link previews and search engine indexing.
Preview photo
Section titled “Preview photo”A screenshot image used in two places:
- As the loading screen shown while the 3D scene is being downloaded and initialized.
- As the Open Graph image embedded in the showcase page, so that the photo appears when the link is shared on social media or in messaging apps.
Use Take photo to capture a screenshot directly from the current viewport. If a photo already exists, Take new photo replaces it.
